We offer the option of a late check-out, allowing you to remain in the house until 12.00 for a fee of 2500 SEK. Check-out is normally by 10.30 am at the latest, but by booking a late check-out, you can enjoy a few extra hours in the house and make your stay even more relaxing. Please note that late check-out can only be offered after checking with our cleaning company to ensure that additional resources are available for that day. We always aim to accommodate your requests and will let you know if this is possible as soon as we have confirmed it. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like a late check-out, and we will look into the possibility and ensure that everything is ready for your check-out at 12.00 if it is approved.
Early Check-in – 14.00
We offer the option of early check-in, allowing you to access the property from 2.00 pm for a fee of 2500 SEK. Check-in normally takes place from 3.30 pm, but by booking early check-in, you can start your stay earlier and have more time to enjoy everything we have to offer. Please note that early check-in can only be offered after checking with our cleaning company to ensure that additional resources are available on that day. We always aim to accommodate your requests and will let you know if it is possible as soon as we have confirmed it. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like an early check-in, and we will look into the possibility and ensure that everything is ready for your arrival at 2.00 pm if it is approved.
Extra cleaning during the week
We offer the option to book an extra clean during your stay for a fee of 6000 SEK per cleaning session. By booking an extra clean, you can enjoy an even more relaxing stay, with a fresh and clean home every day. Please note that extra cleaning can only be offered after checking with our cleaning company to ensure that resources are available on the day you require. We always aim to accommodate your requests and will let you know if this is possible as soon as we have confirmed it. Access to an electric car charging point (Type 2) – 1,500 SEK per booking We offer our guests the opportunity to charge their electric cars during their stay for a fee of 1,500 SEK per booking. This fee gives you access to our reliable and convenient charging station, ensuring your car is fully charged and ready for all your adventures. Our charging station is easy to use and available throughout your stay. We strive to provide our guests with a smooth and hassle-free experience, and having a fully charged car is part of that.

Bathrobe Hire
For a fee of 185 SEK per bathrobe per person, we offer our guests the chance to fully enjoy our spa and relaxation area. Here, you can relax in two jacuzzis – one indoors and one outdoors – and enjoy a relaxing moment in our sauna. We also have a spa lounge area where you can rest and enjoy the peace and quiet. The bathrobes are one-size-fits-all and are both soft and comfortable, enhancing your experience in our spa and relaxation area. Our aim is for you to feel pampered and completely relaxed during your stay with us. On departure, please leave the bathrobes together with the other towels and bed linen for laundering.

Frequently asked questions
What are the payment terms?
20% of the total amount (minimum SEK 6,000) is payable when booking more than 90 days before arrival. The final payment of 80% is due at least 60 days before arrival. When booking later than 90 days before the stay, the full amount is payable directly.
What is the payment deadline and when must the rent be paid in full?
The payment deadline is 10 days from the date of booking. The full rent must be paid and registered on our account before arrival, as access to the house is only given when full payment has been received.
What is included in the rent?
Premium bed linen and towels, fully equipped bathrooms with hand soap and toilet paper, a starter pack for the kitchen (dishwasher tablets, a new dish brush, a dishcloth, tea towels, kitchen roll) and a final clean. A full list is available on the guest portal.
When does Fjällgodset change the water in the spa?
Fjällgodset changes the water in the hot tubs after each guest and before new guests arrive.
What are the cancellation rules and do I need travel insurance?
If you cancel more than 60 days before arrival, the rental amount will be refunded minus an administration fee of SEK 6,000. If you cancel 60 days or less before arrival, no refund will be made. We therefore strongly recommend that you have valid travel insurance that covers unforeseen events, so that you can receive compensation if something unexpected happens before or during your stay.

Luxury mountain marathon
Our weekend at Fjällgodset during the Sälen Mountain Marathon was pure magic! Surrounded by the magnificent Sälen mountains, we immediately felt at home. After the race, the jacuzzi with its mountain view was our salvation - a perfect cure for our tired bodies. The house radiated warmth and hospitality, and the kitchen quickly became our favourite place to socialise and laugh. Fjällgodset offered not only recovery but also a place where new memories were made. I highly recommend it for anyone who appreciates nature and comfort. Five stars!
