The upper floor is the natural gathering place in Gattarstugan – a warm and inviting space where large communal areas blend with a rustic mountain feel. Here you’ll find the open-plan kitchen with two hobs and generous work surfaces, perfect for when lots of people are cooking together. Adjacent to the kitchen is the spacious dining room, which seats the entire party of 24. The adjoining lounge features soft sofas, a wood-burning stove and a cosy atmosphere that makes it easy to socialise, relax and enjoy the evenings after the day’s activities. Sleeping arrangements on the upper floor: A cosy room with a double bed, close to both the kitchen and the main living room. A practical room with a bunk bed, close to both the kitchen and the main lounge. A room with a bunk bed, offering the same rustic mountain atmosphere as the rest of the house.

Ground Floor – Practical sleeping area with plenty of space Bedrooms 1–4: Four identical rooms, each with a bunk bed and a simple, cosy mountain feel. Bedroom 5: A larger shared room with two bunk beds and plenty of space for luggage. Bedroom 6: A cosy room with a double bed and a quieter atmosphere for a restful night’s sleep. Mangebo: The small, detached sleeping cabin with two beds and a cosy, secluded atmosphere. Relaxation and unwinding next to the house: The relaxation building: A separate building with a wood-fired sauna, shower and a relaxing lounge area. Outdoor hot tub: A heated hot tub outside the relaxation area, perfect for an evening soak under the open sky. Close to the ground floor: The entrance and ground-floor bedroom are close to the relaxation area for easy access.

We offer the option of a late check-out, allowing you to remain in the house until 12.00 for a fee of 2500 SEK. Check-out is normally by 10.30 am at the latest, but by booking a late check-out, you can enjoy a few extra hours in the house and make your stay even more relaxing. Please note that late check-out can only be offered after checking with our cleaning company to ensure that additional resources are available for that day. We always aim to accommodate your requests and will let you know if this is possible as soon as we have confirmed it. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like a late check-out, and we will look into the possibility and ensure that everything is ready for your check-out at 12.00 if it is approved.
Early Check-in – 14.00
We offer the option of early check-in, allowing you to access the property from 2.00 pm for a fee of 2500 SEK. Check-in normally takes place from 3.30 pm, but by booking early check-in, you can start your stay earlier and have more time to enjoy everything we have to offer. Please note that early check-in can only be offered after checking with our cleaning company to ensure that additional resources are available on that day. We always aim to accommodate your requests and will let you know if it is possible as soon as we have confirmed it. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like an early check-in, and we will look into the possibility and ensure that everything is ready for your arrival at 2.00 pm if it is approved.
Extra cleaning during the week
We offer the option to book an extra clean during your stay for a fee of 6000 SEK per cleaning session. By booking an extra clean, you can enjoy an even more relaxing stay, with a fresh and clean home every day. Please note that extra cleaning can only be offered after checking with our cleaning company to ensure that resources are available on the day you require. We always aim to accommodate your requests and will let you know if this is possible as soon as we have confirmed it. Bathrobe Hire
For a fee of 185 SEK per bathrobe per person, we offer our guests the chance to fully enjoy our spa and relaxation area. Here, you can relax in two jacuzzis – one indoors and one outdoors – and enjoy a relaxing moment in our sauna. We also have a spa lounge area where you can rest and enjoy the peace and quiet. The bathrobes are one-size-fits-all and are both soft and comfortable, enhancing your experience in our spa and relaxation area. Our aim is for you to feel pampered and completely relaxed during your stay with us. On departure, please leave the bathrobes together with the other towels and bed linen for laundering.

Frequently asked questions
What are the cancellation rules and do I need travel insurance?
If you cancel more than 60 days before arrival, the rental amount will be refunded minus an administration fee of SEK 6,000. If you cancel 60 days or less before arrival, no refund will be made. We therefore strongly recommend that you have valid travel insurance that covers unforeseen events, so that you can receive compensation if something unexpected happens before or during your stay.
When does Gattarstugan change the water in the hot tubs?
Gattarstugan changes the water in the hot tubs after each guest and before new guests arrive.
What is included in the rent?
Premium bed linen and towels, fully equipped bathrooms with hand soap and toilet paper, kitchen starter kit (dishwasher tablets, new dish brush, dishcloth, dish towels, kitchen paper) and final cleaning.
What is the payment deadline and when must the rent be paid in full?
The payment deadline is 10 days from the date of booking. The full rent must be paid and registered on our account before arrival, as access to the house is only given when full payment has been received.
What are the payment terms?
20% of the total amount (minimum SEK 6,000) is payable when booking more than 90 days before arrival. The final payment of 80% is due at least 60 days before arrival. When booking later than 90 days before the stay, the full amount is payable directly.
