What makes a mountain chalet luxurious?
Not gold taps – but an open-plan layout, materials and a spa that make you want to spend time in the house: a room where the whole group can sit together, and a second room where some can retreat; enough bathrooms to ensure a smooth morning; solid wood and natural stone; panoramic windows overlooking the mountains; and a sauna or hot tub to round off the day. Added to this is the service: bed linen, towels and final cleaning included, digital check-in with access codes, and a chef, catering and activities via our partners, subject to a quote. How to book
Select a cottage and your stay period on the cottages page – a short week (Sunday–Thursday), a weekend (Thursday–Sunday) or a full week; for Christmas, New Year, the winter half-term and Easter, specific arrival dates and minimum stay periods apply – see the booking calendar on the cottages page. The booking fee is 20 per cent, payable within five days; the balance is due no later than 60 days before arrival; if booking within 90 days of arrival, the full amount is payable at the time of booking. Cancellations made more than 60 days before arrival will be refunded minus 6,000 SEK; later cancellations will not be refunded at all – please check the cancellation cover in your travel insurance. Check-in from 4 pm, check-out by 10 am at the latest. Optional extras such as made-up beds, late check-out and extra cleaning can be booked directly with the cottage.
