Only a few minutes from our exclusive mountain cabins in Sälen - you will find Sälen's largest water park, with something for all ages. Children can play in the wave pool and water slides, while adults relax in the spa area.
We don't operate Experium, but we highly recommend a visit - especially for those travelling with children or looking for swimming and spa activities during their mountain holiday. For those who want to experience more of the mountains, there are many options nearby, such as forestry safari in Sälen, dog team and guided tour in the mountains. During the summer it attracts hiking and cycling, while family activities in Sälen is perfect for a day out with the kids.

Relaxation
Experium and Lindvallen – prices, opening hours, spa and swimming
Experium is situated at Experium Square in Lindvallen, five to ten minutes’ drive from our houses, and is run by SkiStar. During the winter of 2026/27, the water park will be open every day from 09.00 to 19.30 from 21 December; prior to that, on Thursdays from 12.00 to 19.30 and Friday to Sunday from 09.00 to 19.30; during the autumn half-term holiday from 26 October to 1 November, it will be open every day. The Norrsken spa area is open on Thursdays from 13.00 to 19.30 and Friday to Sunday from 10.00 to 19.30 until 20 December. Swimming and spa facilities must be booked in advance, and children aged 0–11 must be accompanied by a paying adult; from the age of 12, the ability to swim 200 metres is required. The FlowRider indoor surfing facility must be booked and paid for separately at the Pool Café.
Prices
SkiStar does not publish a price for a single visit to the swimming pool on its website – the price is displayed when you book on skistar.com. The prices published are for the passes: the Experium 12-month pass costs 2,200 SEK for adults, SEK 1,750 for seniors and young people aged 7–17, SEK 1,100 for children aged 3–6, and SEK 4,800 for a family of two adults and two children. The Autumn Swimming Pass (22 August–8 December) costs 725 kr for adults, 575 kr for seniors and young people, 365 kr for children aged 3–6 and 1,600 kr for a family. SkiStar Lodge Lindvallen sells ‘stay and swim’ packages from 945 kr per person.
Bowling and the cinema
Bowling costs 425 SEK per lane before 5.00 pm and 450 SEK afterwards, for 55 minutes and up to eight players, and must be booked in advance; open Thursday–Saturday 3 pm–9 pm from 1 November and every day 11 am–11 pm from 14 December. The cinema shows films for free on selected days without the need for a booking, subject to limited seating.
