How many people can you accommodate?
Count the number of beds the house is approved for, not sofas or mattresses on the floor – our largest house, the Gattarstugan, accommodates 24 guests in 11 bedrooms; the Fjällgodset, 22 in 10 bedrooms; the Sälengodset, 21 in 9; and the Olarslodgen, 21 in 8. The Stenlodgen accommodates 15, the Villa Åsstigen 12 and the Skiers Lodge 8. A floor plan that works for groups
A holiday cottage for 20 people can feel spacious or cramped depending on how the space is laid out. Consider three things: is there a room where everyone can sit together at the same time; is there a second room where some people can retreat to; and are the bedrooms situated so that those who go to bed early are spared the noise of the party? Bathrooms, kitchens and communal areas

The booking is in the name of one person who is responsible for the house, but how you share the cost amongst yourselves is up to you.
