- Group cross-country skiing, December–April. The tracks at Villa Åsstigen and around Sälfjällstangen; equipment can be hired from the shops at SkiStar.
- Alpine skiing, December–April. Sälen and SkiPass apply to Lindvallen, Högfjället, Tandådalen and Hundfjället; Skiers Lodge offers ski-in/ski-out access.
- Snow construction and team mountain orienteering, winter. Planning, collaboration and communication on the move – you organise this yourselves, either off-site or through an organiser.

- Sauna, hot tub and dinner. It is in the evenings in the houses that the conversations take place which the timetable cannot accommodate – there are saunas in the houses, and hot tubs in Sälengodset, Fjällgodset, Gattarstugan, Stenlodgen and Winebunker.
Put the aim first – collaboration, problem-solving or reward – and choose activities that everyone can take part in without worrying about prestige. Book guides well in advance for school holidays and weekends, have a plan B in case of bad weather, and round off the day with a group reflection.
