About Sälengodset
Who we are
Sälengodset manages and lets nine self-catering mountain chalets in Sälen, accommodating 8–24 guests – Sälengodset, Fjällgodset, Winebunker, Olarslodgen, Stenlodgen, Sollodgen, Gattarstugan, Villa Åsstigen and The Skiers Lodge – in Gamla Sälfjällstangen, near Sälfjällstorget, in Stöten, Tandådalen, Gilleråsen and Lindvallen. We are a small company that handles bookings, check-in, cleaning and maintenance for the cottages, and puts guests in touch with local chefs, catering companies and activity organisers when they want to experience more than just the cottage. Guests book directly with us, with a contract and a single point of contact throughout their stay.
How the agency works
The properties are owned by their owners; we let them out on the owners’ behalf and manage them. For guests, this means the same conditions apply to all properties: prices and availability are shown on the property page; bookings are made directly with us, with 20 per cent payable within five days and the remainder no later than 60 days before arrival; digital check-in with an access code; and bed linen, towels and final cleaning are included in the price. There are two sets of terms and conditions – one for Sälengodset and Fjällgodset and one for the properties we act as an intermediary for – with the same payment and cancellation rules. Guests book chefs, catering, transfers and activities directly with our partners, who invoice them directly; we do not take a share of that transaction. Behind the Sälengodset brand are two companies: Sälengodset Rekreation AB (company registration number 556736-4095) lets out Sälengodset and Fjällgodset, and Sälengodset Mountain Luxe AB (company registration no. 559510-1642) acts as an agent for other properties on behalf of their respective owners. As a guest, you will have the same point of contact and receive the same service regardless of which property you book; the company with which you have a contract depends on the property you book – see the terms and conditions for Sälengodset and Fjällgodset and the terms and conditions for properties put up for sale.
