Stenlodgen is a modern mountain villa in Lindvallen, ideal for groups who want to stay close to the slopes without compromising on comfort. Completed in 2020, the house measures just over 200 square metres and has 15 beds and a cot spread across five bedrooms on three floors. With three separate living areas and the ski lift within walking distance, it is just as suitable for two families as it is for a group of friends.

Stenlodgen has 5 bedrooms, 3 showers and 3 toilets. What sets this house apart from most others is that each floor has its own communal area — so guests can spend time together without having to be in the same room.
A 25-square-metre kitchen and dining area – An open-plan room with space for ten at the long table and four at the kitchen worktop.
Living room open-plan to the kitchen – With a wood-burning stove, a TV and a spacious sofa suite, and a glass door leading out onto the balcony.
Living room in the loft – The house’s second living room, one floor up, with a TV.
Family room on the lower ground floor – A sofa, two armchairs and a TV. The children often end up using them.

3 double beds – A master bedroom with its own walk-in wardrobe on the ground floor, and one bedroom on both the mezzanine and basement levels.
3 single beds – Two in their own bedroom in the loft, and one to complement the double bed in the loft.
2 bunk beds and 2 pull-out beds – A separate children’s bedroom that can accommodate up to six children.

Ground floor
As you step into Stenlodgen, you are greeted by a ground floor where the kitchen, dining area and living room flow seamlessly into one another to form the natural focal point of the house. Floor-to-ceiling windows let in the mountain light and keep the room bright even when the snow lies thick outside. The kitchen is designed for entertaining. It features generous worktop space, a double sink and a dishwasher, a separate fridge and freezer, and its own pantry – everything you need to prepare both quick breakfasts and leisurely dinners. Four people can sit on high stools at the kitchen worktop, and this is usually where morning coffee is enjoyed before the ski lift opens. The dining area seats ten around the long table, with direct access to the terrace. The living room is open-plan with the kitchen but has a character of its own. A wall of natural stone runs through the room, framing the wood-burning stove, which becomes a natural gathering point as evening falls. The sofa suite can accommodate the whole party, and a glass door leads out onto the balcony. On the other side of the floor plan, set apart from the communal areas, lies the house’s master bedroom with a double bed and its own walk-in wardrobe. There is also a shower room with a toilet and twin washbasins, so that several people can get ready at the same time.
Loft
A loft staircase leads up to a separate floor of just over 50 square metres, and this is often where the evening’s activities move to when things start to quieten down on the ground floor. In the centre of the floor is a lounge with a TV and a large, soft sofa beneath the sloping ceiling. Here, the children can finish watching their film without the evening downstairs having to come to an end, and this is just as much the place where everyone gathers when their legs are tired after a day on the slopes. This is usually where the young people head as the evening draws in. On either side of the lounge is a bedroom. One has a double bed with an extra single bed, the other two single beds – a layout that works just as well for two couples as it does for a family with children, with separate rooms for the adults. For added convenience, there’s a private toilet with a washbasin on this floor, so no one needs to go downstairs in the middle of the night. The loft thus becomes the house’s second living room: close enough to be part of the communal space, yet secluded enough to feel like a separate part of the house.
Basement floor plan
From the ground floor, the stairs lead down to the basement – the house’s most versatile floor, and the one that usually becomes the children’s. In the centre of this level is a family room of nearly 18 square metres with a comfortable sofa, two armchairs and a TV. The patio door opens straight out onto the snow, and just a few metres away is the hot tub – it’s a short walk from the sauna, the bath and the sofa. There are two bedrooms here. One has a double bed, whilst the other is a proper children’s room with two bunk beds and two pull-out beds, together providing space for up to six children. This level also houses the house’s sauna with its own shower room – the natural stop on the way in from the slopes – and an additional toilet. The utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer, making it easy to head home with a clean suitcase. With a sauna, a hot tub right outside the door and plenty of sleeping space, the basement level almost becomes a separate hub within the house: perfect for groups who want to be together yet still have their own space to retreat to.

We always aim to accommodate your requests and will let you know if this is possible as soon as we have confirmed it. For a fee of 185 SEK per bathrobe per person, we offer our guests the opportunity to fully enjoy our spa and relaxation area. We offer the option of a late check-out, allowing you to remain in the house until 12.00 for a fee of 2500 SEK. Check-out is normally by 10.00 at the latest, but by booking a late check-out, you can enjoy a few extra hours in the house and make your stay even more relaxing. Please note that late check-out can only be offered after checking with our cleaning company to ensure that additional resources are available for that day. We always strive to accommodate your requests and will let you know if it is possible as soon as we have confirmed it. Please let us know when booking if you would like a late check-out, and we will look into the possibility and ensure that everything is ready for your check-out at 12.00 if it is approved.
Early Check-in – 14.00
We offer the option of early check-in, allowing you to access the property from 2.00 pm for a fee of 2500 SEK. Check-in is normally from 4.00 pm, but by booking early check-in, you can start your stay earlier and have more time to enjoy everything we have to offer. Please note that early check-in can only be offered after checking with our cleaning company to ensure that additional resources are available on that day. We always aim to accommodate your requests and will let you know if it is possible as soon as we have confirmed it. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like an early check-in, and we will look into the possibility and ensure everything is ready for your arrival at 2.00 pm if it is approved.
Frequently asked questions
What are the cancellation rules and do I need travel insurance?
If you cancel more than 60 days before arrival, the rental amount will be refunded minus an administration fee of SEK 6,000. If you cancel 60 days or less before arrival, no refund will be made. We therefore strongly recommend that you have valid travel insurance that covers unforeseen events, so that you can receive compensation if something unexpected happens before or during your stay.
What is the payment deadline and when must the rent be paid in full?
The payment deadline is 10 days from the date of booking. The full rent must be paid and registered on our account before arrival, as access to the house is only given when full payment has been received.
What are the payment terms?
20% of the total amount (minimum SEK 6,000) is payable when booking more than 90 days before arrival. The final payment of 80% is due at least 60 days before arrival. When booking later than 90 days before the stay, the full amount is payable directly.
What is included in the rent?
Premium bed linen and towels, fully equipped bathrooms with hand soap and toilet paper, a starter pack for the kitchen (dishwasher tablets, a new dish brush, a dishcloth, tea towels, kitchen roll) and a final clean. A full list is available on the guest portal.
When does Stenlodgen change the water in the hot tub?
Stenlodgen changes the water in the hot tub after each guest and before new guests arrive.
