Last-minute deals at Sälen – properties currently available

Are you looking for accommodation in Sälen at short notice? Here’s how to find available properties in Sälengodset without having to keep an eye on newsletters or wait for special offers. All our properties show available dates directly in the booking system, and outside of major holiday periods there are often slots available that can be booked the same week.

The houses are let as whole properties for 10–24 guests, complete with a sauna and spa, and can be booked for a short week from Sunday to Thursday or a weekend from Thursday to Sunday. If you book within 90 days of arrival, you pay the full amount at the time of booking, and the house is then yours.

How to find a house to let at short notice

1. Go to our houses and choose the house that suits your group. Each house shows available dates in its booking calendar.
2. Try both the short week (Sunday–Thursday) and the weekend (Thursday–Sunday). The short week is often available even when the weekend is fully booked.
3. Are there more than 24 of you, or would you like two houses close to each other? Write to us, then we’ll see what’s available that same week.

When are the chances greatest?

During Christmas, New Year, the winter half-term, Easter and Vasaloppet week, the cottages are usually fully booked well in advance. You’ll have the best chance of finding a cottage available at short notice in January after Epiphany, at the end of March and in April when late winter offers good snow but fewer guests, as well as in May–June and September–November.

Which houses usually have hatches?

Gaps usually occur due to cancellations and between two weekly bookings, and they can arise in any of our properties: Sälengodset (21 guests) and Fjällgodset (22 guests) at Sälfjället, Olarslodgen (21 guests) at Sälfjällstorget and Gattarstugan (24 guests) in Tandådalen. Availability is shown in the booking details for each house.

Terms and conditions for late bookings

• If booking is made within 90 days of arrival, the full amount must be paid at the time of booking.
• Check-in from 4.00 pm, check-out by 10.00 am at the latest.
• Optional extras such as cleaning, bed linen and private chef will be added to the guest portal before arrival.

Do you offer last-minute discounts?

We do not run discount campaigns. The price shown at the time of booking is the seasonal rate, and any available rooms can be booked straight away.

How soon will I receive confirmation?

The booking is confirmed straight away in the booking process, and you’ll receive login details for the guest portal, where you can view the property’s details and add extras.

Can I book just one night?

No. The houses can be booked for a short week (Sunday–Thursday), a weekend (Thursday–Sunday) or a full week.
