Why choose the autumn conference in Sälen?
Autumn colours create an inspiring environment for creative meetings
An autumn conference in Sälen offers the opportunity to combine peace of mind with inspiration from nature. Our conference accommodation is located close to nature at Sälfjällstangen, where the mountain literally starts outside the door. During the meeting days, you can easily plan breaks for short walks along autumn-coloured trails - or why not a creative session outdoors with the mountains as a backdrop?
The power of nature
The crisp autumn air and spectacular colours create an environment where new ideas flourish. Many groups find that the natural environment inspires better ideas and greater focus.
Exclusive privacy
Between the peak summer and winter seasons, the Sälen offers a quiet period where you have the mountains almost to yourself. Perfect for deep discussions and strategic work.
Many companies choose to combine full-day meetings with shorter workshops or interactive group exercises, where the relaxed environment helps to improve ideas and focus. Whether you are planning a management team meeting, a team-building event or a planning day, we can help design a programme to suit your objectives.

Team activities that strengthen a sense of community
A great advantage of holding a conference in Sälen during the autumn is the rich range of activities that strengthen community and commitment. At the end of the working day or as a break, you can book experiences that create memories and strengthen the team.
The most popular activities this autumn
Mountain hiking with a guide
Explore the mountain trails and enjoy spectacular autumn views. We work with local guides to take you to the most beautiful places. Let the hike be a natural break in the meeting, or plan a full half-day where the team can socialise and talk in nature.
Wine tasting and gourmet dinner
After a day of work and activities, you can bring the whole group together for an evening of a private dinner at the cottage. The chefs and sommelier we arrange will create a menu based on seasonal flavours, often combined with a wine tasting where local and international wines complement the character of the mountains.
Cooking course as team building
Food is a powerful tool for fostering a sense of togetherness. During a cookery session with one of our partner chefs, you’ll work together to prepare a menu that showcases the ingredients of the mountains and autumn. It’s an activity that’s both engaging and tastes fantastic.
Cycling and MTB
Sälen offers cycling routes that are beautiful even in autumn. Travelling together strengthens the group and offers both nature experience and exercise. Both beginners and experienced cyclists can find suitable routes in the area.
You can also book other adventures, experiences and team-building activities through our partners – guided walks, gastronomic walks, team-building activities and much more. Find out more about activities and adventures
